Twi-hard Fan

New Moon, the second movie in the Twilight series, premiered last night at midnight. I don't function on anything less than 8 hours of sleep, so I was not in attendance. However, a special Tallula Bean correspondent was at the Boston Common theatre conducting interviews with some of R-Patz's biggests fans as they waited for the flick to begin.

Feast your eyes on this Twi-hard fan:

"And I waved with my mittened hand and walked away" - amazing.

Sometimes You Just Have To Ask

The holidays are quickly approaching. Scary I know. Every year I like to get started on my shopping early, but in the process, I always find a ton of things I want to buy for myself. Is it sad that I'm 26 and still make a Christmas list? I.think.not.

This year, I need a new iPod. Mine shit the bed and I really miss bringing it to the gym and using my Bose SoundDock (it is currently collecting dust on my dresser). Thank you, Nana, for crossing that one off my list.

Here comes the splurge...I fell in love with this boyfriend jacket from J.Crew. However, I would never spend the money and buy it for myself. So I let N know that this would be my perfect gift and it will be waiting under the tree for me on the 25th.

Unlike most people, I'm not into surprise gifts. If I know someone is going to buy me something, I feel I might as well tell them what I'd like and be really happy with it, rather than have to trudge back to the mall and make a return. I feel it's a win-win.

Do you agree? What is on your "wish list" this holiday season?

FAIL

A coworker just sent me an email with the most hilarious Facebook FAIL - I had to share:

That's one supportive Mom.

It's My Party

Today is my birthday! And it's Friday! So I guess I should celebrate...all weekend.

The weekend will be full of friends, family, margaritas, shopping and spending time with N. Oh, and maybe a cupcake or two :)

The Blind Side

Please tell me you've seen the commercials for the movie, The Blind Side. It looks right up my alley and fits my movie qualifications - a heart warming, feel-good, tear-jerker (I've also added extra points for it being based on a true story.)

Check it out.

The one drawback: it comes out in theatres the same day as NEW MOON. For those of you not obsessed with Edward and the rest of the vamps, it's the second movie in the Twilight series.

The Blind Side's producers didn't plan that one out very well, but I still think it will hold its own with an entirely different audience.
