Theme Song

What is your "song"? You know, the song that always puts you in a good mood and the one you don't mind belting out in the car even with the person in the next lane staring at you like you're insane.

I can think of a handful that I can blast on my iPod when I'm struggling through the end of the day at work or if I'm having a terrible day. Currently, these are my top faves in no particular order:

1. Got My Mind Set On You - George Harrison
2. I Wanna Be Rich - Calloway
3. No Surrender - Springsteen
4. Oh Sherrie - Steve Perry (always)
5. Sweetheart - Mariah Carey

What are yours? I need some new material for my iTunes. Donchita, I know you have a few special karaoke jams you can share.

I personally enjoy the following songs, also in no particular order:

Sweet Emotion, Aerosmith
You Oughta Know, Alanis (No, I'm not a man-hater... it's just a fabulous song to scream/sing)
'Cause I'm Your Lady, Celine
Jukebox Hero, Foreigner
In the Air Tonight, Phil Collins

These aren't exactly reflections of me as a person, just songs I LOVE singing!

I try to think of songs that get me pumped up. You know, those songs that play when a batter is stepping up to the plate, or a pro wrestler is entering the ring to. With that in mind, mine would hands down be "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" by Drowning Pool!
